I post about Kamen Rider, and also living in a failed democracy that distracts me from enjoying Kamen Rider.
If you love neoliberalism, you'll love this movie.
When writing the main character out of a plot, try to make sure you don't use a side character you need. If you didn't kill the Big Bad's secretary in the main series, you don't need to waste time doing it in the movie. If your Deuteragonists is going to have a heart to heart with an organization member they oppose, make it the one they're a foil for rather than the Leader. Finally, if you have a plot twist at the end make sure there is at least one plausible explanation for it. Also don't have a plot twist where you kill the only sympathetic characters in your story unless there is a point to doing so.
These are all pieces of basic writing advice that this movie cares not for.
A few days ago, The Trevor Project laid off 12% of its staff, allegedly in the middle of union negotiations. In researching this story, I realized it's simply too complex to tell in a single post. So enjoy Part 1 of this ongoing series about The Trevor Project and nonprofits under capitalism.
Discussions around LGBTQ+ youth depression, addiction, and anxiety follow. I did my best to write it kindly.
